Pipeline Packaging Acquires Consumer Container Distributor: Bottle Solutions

Pipeline Packaging, the largest US distributor of rigid industrial containers, has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of Bottle Solutions, a consumer packaging distributor based in Cleveland, OH. The purchase will consolidate supply lines and leverage the two companies’ combined buying power to provide more varied packaging and solution-based services to their markets in the Great Lakes region and beyond.

“We look forward to strengthening our existing relationships with the customers and suppliers that both companies have in common. In addition, we are excited to welcome those customers and suppliers that are new to the Pipeline Packaging family. We believe they will like doing business with Pipeline Packaging and we will work hard to prove it,” exclaims Chris Nelson, president of Pipeline.

Tim Winings, Vice-President of Sales at Pipeline offers further insight into the acquisition with, “… among other things, we are eager to combine Bottle Solutions’ business in the micro-brewing industry with our proprietary wine and Grolsch bottle product lines.”

Existing Bottle Solutions assets will, over the next several weeks, be consolidated into Pipeline Packaging’s headquarters in Glenwillow, OH, southeast of Cleveland. Certain personnel will also transition into corresponding roles. The customer and supplier bases are expected to continue without interruption in service.
